I’ve checked the folders and in <username>/Library/Mail/Bundles … there is a folder called SpamSieve.mailbundle , but there is also another folder in /Mail called Bundles (Disabled) with nothing in it.

However… in /Library/Mail/Bundles there are the same folders, but an additional 20 or so folders called…

Are you saying that you have two SpamSieve.mailbundle’s, one in each Bundles folder? I suggest deleting all the Disabled ones, just to clear things up.

Hi Michael, yes I have a Bundle in both locations… is this normal ? I have deleted the other Disabled folders etc… restarted… but still the same !

No, there should be only the:

/Users/<username>/Library/Mail/Bundles/SpamSieve.mailbundle

one.

Success ! Removed the Bundle in the /Library/Mail folder and it now loads properly… thanks for your help.
