Playlist-like Sort Ordering

Hi,

I am new to EagleFiler, but I am very impressed with the design decisions made in the product. (I was sold by the fact that you can have multiple libraries and that files aren’t trapped in a database.)

Anyhow, I am wondering if there is a feature that would allow me to sort files in a folder in my own order (kind of like a playlist in iTunes). Sorting in by the “order” field and then dragging items up and down could then change their position in the order… This would be really helpful for using EagleFiler as an outlining app where I can put ideas in order with files.

Thanks.

Right now the only way to do this would be to prefix one of the columns with a number or some spaces to affect the sort order. True playlist-like manual sorting is a feature that several other users have requested and which I’m considering for a future version of EagleFiler.
