SpamSieve not moving messages manually

Hi,

I am running MacOS 11.1 on an M1 MacMini. I installed SpamSieve (2.9.41) and did some training.

It is working on new mail and I see mail in the spam folder.

The problem is that when I select a message and select “Train as Spam” nothing appears to happen. It doesn’t move the email to the spam folder.

If I see an email the spam folder that isn’t spam, sometime if I select it and “train as good” it moves to the inbox, other times it does not.

Suggestions?

This is likely caused by a macOS bug that affects M1 Macs. SpamSieve 2.9.42b2, which is now in public beta, includes a workaround.
