Storing Data on Encrypted Disk Images

Does storing EagleFiler Data on a Apple sparse disk image Media slow EagleFiler down?

There will be some overhead from the image and the encryption, but it shouldn’t slow it down too much. Mostly the overhead will be in opening the library, importing new files, and previewing large documents. Browsing and searching should still be pretty fast.

EagleFiler 1.2 makes it easier to create encrypted libraries. It now handles the creation of the encrypted sparse disk image for you.
