I have a couple of questions regarding my blocklist and more specifically the ends with.
• If I am doing an address is it better to have @foo.com or just foo.com? It seems like I am not getting hits for blocked email messages and then I get 1 ends with and one is equal to. Also • Is there any way to stop it from creating from (name) records?
As a new user any other tips or tricks would be appreciated.

It’s generally better to include the @ so that you don’t accidentally match something like anotherfoo.com.
I’m not sure how to interpret this. Are you referring to the hits shown in the Blocklist window? Could you give an example of what happened and what you expected to happen instead?
You could click this link. This will also prevent the allowlist from creating such rules.
Thanks for the info… I will use the @foo.com instead of foo.com unless it is a contains like ends with .in to stop all mail from India. The link you gave me is great. Is there a setting in the UI for this also? For the second question I had from (address) ends with .in and still get and email from

No, this is one of the esoteric preferences. If you need to revert back to the default, you can click this link.
If you check the Log window, it will say if/why SpamSieve predicted the message to be good. There may, for example, be an allowlist rule that matched.
Do you mean like From (address) Ends With .in?
