After Upgrading to Sonoma

Just upgraded last night from Monterey to Sonoma 14.6.1. When I open the Mail app I get a error that pops up. "System Events got an error. Apple Mail is not allowed assistive access (-1719)

Strange thing is that the Junk folder constantly shows (1), but is in fact empty. Wondering if this has something to do with SpamSieve?

Should have added, there are two things you click on with the error window comes up. “OK” and “Edit”, when you click OK the error window goes away, but if you click Edit, Script Editor opens and the script is one that the SpamSieve instructions said to add to Mail. Possible clue?

That is not related to SpamSieve.

What is the name of the script? Do you have a rule in Apple Mail configured to use this script?

The standard SpamSieve setup does not ask you to install any scripts, and I don’t think any SpamSieve scripts require assistive access.

Apparently, I’m aging poorly. Old man, with an old man’s memory. Please totally disregard my posts. Many years ago, I created an Apple Script that would open Mail and then “size” the Mail app window. I had long forgotten that, but I created an “alias” that sat on the Desktop. After upgrading to Sonoma, I thought that the Desktop alias was a simple alias for the Mail app. Didn’t realize that until after posting my question here. Sorry!
