Blank From and Subject columns after applying "SpamSieve - Train as Good"

Hello,

When I find messages in my Gmail Spam folder (using IMAP in Apple Mail Version 3.5 on Mac OS X 10.5.5), I go to the menu option “Message” and select the option “SpamSieve - Train as Good”. The messages are moved to my Gmail Inbox folder. However, time to time, I get the “From” and “Subject” columns without any text looking at the emails list.

The email content, including the header, is displayed properly when I click in the email from the emails list.

I don’t get this if I move the email manually without using the “SpamSieve - Train as Good”.

What is going on? Any Idea?

Thanks,

Andre

Under the normal setup, SpamSieve doesn’t put any messages into the Gmail Spam mailbox, so any good messages that are there are not there because of SpamSieve, and so you don’t need to train it with them.

It sounds like your Mail database is damaged. You could quit Mail and delete the file:

/Users/<username>/Library/Mail/Envelope Index

Then it will build a new database for you.
