Bluetooth hardware not available in macbook

Hi,
I’m using a mid-2013 Macbook Air, and Bluetooth hardware isn’t listed in the system preferences or applications. There was Bluetooth before, but I misplaced it. There is also no Bluetooth icon. The speakers are broken. Is it possible to link my bluetooth headphone to my Macbook by purchasing this app?

In System Preferences, you can use View ‣ Customize… to add Bluetooth back if you had removed it. If that doesn’t work, you may need to reinstall macOS. In order to use ToothFairy you would need to first pair your headphones with the Mac from the Bluetooth pane of System Preferences.
