Can EagleFiler emulate the same behavior as SpamSieve's when opening/closing Mail?

Hi,

Is there a way to have the Eaglefiler Library or App to open when I open Mail similar to how SpamSieve opens and closes with Mail? Or is there maybe a Shortcut automation that could emulate the same behavior? My current solution was to create an Application through Automator that opens both these applications at once, but I was hoping to use shortcuts if possible for less clutter.

As far as I’m aware, Shortcuts for Mac does not support the same type of “when application launches” triggers that the iOS version does. You could probably do this with an AppleScript that stays running all the time, periodically checking whether Mail has launched or quit. Or perhaps there is an easier way using a third-party utility such as Keyboard Maestro.
