Canary Mail sending outlook emails to archive folder

Hello, first time poster here, I purchased SpamSieve a couple of weeks ago and everything was working great up to few days ago. I use Canary Mail as my email client and for some reason, most emails from Outlook (hotmail) after landing in the inbox are being sent to archive folder even before I open them. This started happening a few days ago. I haven’t changed any configuration or settings in either SpamSieve or Canary Mail/Hotmail. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Which app are you using SpamSieve with? It doesn’t have direct support for Canary Mail.

I am using apple mail.

Are the messages going to the Archive in Apple Mail, too?

I guess I don’t really understand what you mean by “after landing in the inbox”; are you seeing them move from Inbox to Archive before your eyes?

I don’t think the is related to SpamSieve because with Apple Mail it doesn’t touch the good messages.

The emails are moved to archive also in Apple Mail, I see the email notification in Canary, when I open it (the new email in Canary) after 2-3 seconds the email shuts down and disappear, I have to go to archive folder to find the email there. I even manually drag and drop the emails that I need to keep in my inbox and minutes later when I open the email app, either Canary or Apple Mail, said email is moved back to the archive folder. I can share screenshots if needed.

I guess my advice would be to see whether the problem occurs if only one of the mail clients is running. Or zero (checking using Webmail).
