Can SpamSieve be configured to send emails directly to the Trash? I have tried changing script to send to Trash on my Mac but still winds up in Junk folder.
Which mail program are you using? Do you want messages that you train to go to the trash? Or incoming messages that are automatically filtered?
- I use Apple Mail and have a gMail account.
- The spam is now going into my Junk folder as always even though I hanged the scrip to Trash on my Mac.
I would like all messages labeled as spam to go directly to the trash.

The messages that make it to your inbox get the SpamSieve rule applied to them, and it moves the spams to the Trash mailbox that you selected. However, the Gmail server junk filter is also moving some messages to the server Junk mailbox before they get to your Mac. If you don’t want Gmail’s filter to do that, you could turn it off. Please see this page for more information about this.
Success. I modified the google mail and now all goes into the trash.
