I haven’t checked in on this issue in over a year: has any new method arisen for viewing EF items on iPad/iPhone, or is it pretty much the same advice as always?
I don’t see any prominent notices anywhere on the support site or forum…
PS - FWIW, “Files” does not synch properly for me. I’ve spent hours with a senior Apple tech, who sympathized but pronounced me an edge case. iCloud, generally, is funky, so I mostly use DropBox.
Pretty much the same except that I’ve updated the list of recommended iOS apps. See also this thread.

And please consider DropBox support; there are surely other edge cases who get funky results from iCloud!
