Are the SpamSieve instructions for disabling the Gmail spam filter (namely “Create a new filter and enter @ in the From field…”) working well for everyone? I tried them for a while, but I found they had an annoying side effect where sent mail wind up in one’s Inbox. However, the most frequent advice I find on the web involves creating a filter with Contains the Words: “Is:Spam” seems to work properly most of the time, but periodically, I find that a message that SpamSieve “approved” gets transferred to my Google spam mailbox, and I have to log into Gmail and manually specify that the message is not spam. I’ve seen this happen repeatedly with the same type of message.
Any suggestions about this matter?
