I like to use my AirPods 2 with my external mic. I recently moved to a new MacBook Pro. I swear there was a setting in ToothFairy where you can set the default mic to use when AirPods are connected. Is that true or am I losing my mind?
Yes, normally, when you connect AirPods, the Mac will switch to using the AirPods mic. However, if you have Improve sound quality by disabling audio input from device checked in the Advanced… preferences in ToothFairy, it will keep using whichever mic you had selected before connecting the AirPods.
