Delete all references to new spam in mailbox

I have set up SpamSieve to send spam messages to Trash on iCloud and Mark as Read. There are still Unread spam messages listed in the Junk folder. Is there a way to configure the SpamSieve rule to put the spam messages in a folder somewhere without getting an indication there are unread messages?

If you have SpamSieve set to move all the spam messages to Trash, then anything going to Junk is not because of SpamSieve. If you want SpamSieve to refilter the messages in Junk, you could set up the rescue script, and there is an option at the top of the script to make it mark the messages as read.
