I’ve used SpamSieve for a couple of years now. It has one function - or lack of function, really - that still drives me nuts. If an update has rolled out, I’ve missed it.
When the same spam from the same entity shows up for the 14th time, I just want it to go away. I don’t want to page through the junk folder to delete it yet another time. It was spam yesterday; it was spam the day before that. Why do I have to review it yet again before manually making it go away? Make it vanish.
There’s a design/organization maxim: touch everything once. Efficient cleaning is putting something away when you pick it up - don’t put it over there promising yourself you’ll get to it. Touch it once. Same with design; if you’re setting up a space with efficiency in mind, daily tasks should be easy to accomplish in one step, not two or three.
I’d love to see this applied to SS. Even better, I’d love to learn it’s already in the settings, which it wasn’t when I first asked about it. Any news on that? Thanks.
