Direct trash

Hello,
Rather than relying on the spam score to discard an email (with the risk of errors), is it possible to assign an email address (or domain name) directly to the trash folder?
This would create a third instruction: good, spam, trash!

Yes, you could add the address to the Blocklist and enable the Move it to the Trash if the spam score is at least option, setting it to 99 (blocklist).

I already do that.
So I check my Trash folder before emptying it.
I would also like to be able to mark certain emails or domains for direct deletion.
Have I read the instructions correctly?

Then I’m not sure what your question is…

When you train a message as spam, SpamSieve adds its sender to the blocklist. You can also create your own blocklist rules, e.g. to block a domain you could make one like:

From (address) ends with apple.com

OK, and the email goes to the trash.
But I would like it to be deleted!
Perhaps I am not using SpamSieve correctly!

It moves the messages to the trash, which is what I thought you wanted because your first post said “directly to the trash folder.” There is no way to have SpamSieve fully delete them, but you could set Mail to automatically empty the trash if you want.

That’s why I thought it would be a good idea to be able to mark an email or domain for immediate deletion!
The (mandatory) review of the trash before emptying it is cluttered with these recurring emails that we know we have to delete.
The blacklist could have an additional section: Delete automatically! (I wish Mail allowed this!)

Yes, Mail used to have a way that SpamSieve could tell it to delete messages, but it unfortunately no longer works.
