Does assigning tag assign the name of color to Label?

I see the word “Gray” assigned to the Label column and wonder how was it set? In another file, to simulate this, I tried assigning a ‘personal’ tag which is gray in color and does not see the Label being assigned with the word Gray. Yet, I have files with Label = Gray

In Finder, certain files were tagged both personal and Gray. Finder actually showed the word Gray as a tag.

(I admit that I have been changing the color of the tags in EF to get some consistency around all my tags. Perhaps during of one these color changes where the Label was set?)

Labels and tags are completely separate in EagleFiler. There’s a fixed set of labels, with the colors and names the same for all libraries and set by macOS. However, I don’t think macOS really exposes this to the user or makes the label names configurable anymore, as Finder is now focused on tags only.
