Does SpamSieve handle abandoned cart emails (that I didn't initiate) well?

I am debating purchasing SpamSieve as I my Gmail account gets inundated with those “Forget to checkout” or “Complete your purchase” emails. My Gmail is a common name (firstnamelastname at gmail.com) unfortunately so I get a lot of very annoying spam.

I get dozens a day of those “checkout now” emails and I tell Apple Mail these are spam, but they keep coming.

I’m just unclear if this is something SpamSieve would be able to handle. My only worry is scenarios where I (myself - not a bot) left something in a card.

I guess my other option is just to nuke my Gmail account completely.

Just curious if anyone else has had this problem.

I haven’t heard of that particular problem before. Are you saying that these are not actually spam messages, but rather other people’s legitimate follow-up e-mails but they entered the wrong address?
