I have a lot of files about my genealogy research scattered around my Mac. I feel I need to place them in a place where I can easily find them without having to manually search for them.
The files are .txt, .html, .pdf and images (mainly jpeg). If I create a database “genealogy” and drop them onto EagleFiler, will the original files stay where they are on the computer or will they all end up in a folder “Files” in eagleFiler DB folder?
Or is it better to group them allinone folder in iCloud first?
(Does this question even make any sense?)
It depends on which way you import. If you move the files into EagleFiler, they’ll only end up in the Files
folder in EagleFiler. If you copy them, your originals will remain untouched.
