As an example, I have a note in Drafts that I want to save to EF. I click the Share icon on the menu bar and choose EagleFiler from Drafts, and nothing happens. When I click other share destinations, I am able to send from Drafts as expected.

Do you know what type of data Drafts is trying to share? EagleFiler’s Share Extension is able to receive URLs and files, but not text. (It does declare to the system that it can receive text, in order to work around a bug that prevents Apple News from sharing URLs.) If you are trying to import text, you could use the Import service.
