Esoteric preferences and source URLs

I’m a new user of Eaglefiler, having dismissed it for the longest time because there was no iOS app available. After reading Michaels tips on using accessing the EF library on iOS, I realised I didn’t really need an app. So, I have been using EF for a week or so now and couldn’t be happier.

There are however always a couple of small things…

I don’t like saving selected text from a web view as a web archive, because I usually want to edit that text or add to it once it’s in EF. So, I have the ImportTextAsWebArchive preference set to NO. That works a charm.

I also like using plain text as much as possible, mainly because it makes accessing things on iOS a lot easier. So, I have the PrefersRichText preference set to NO.

However, that means the source url is not preserved in the EF metadata after importing. When I set PrefersRichText to YES, it does work as expected.

Is this a bug, or maybe intentional? If so, is there a way around it?

Thanks!

I think that was just an oversight. Thanks for letting me know. I’ll try to address it soon.
