Firefox as default browser?

I browse and capture with Firefox, but when I call up Web archives Eaglefiler uses Safari. I tried saving a Web archive onto my desktop, hitting “get info,” and changing the “open with” default, but that turned my “archive” into a white box on the desktop – unopenable.

I could not access “get info” from inside Eaglefiler (clicking on a file or clicking on the display). So: How do I change the default browser for the archived pages?

Get Info in the Finder is indeed the way to change which application EagleFiler uses to open a file. Firefox doesn’t know how to open Web archives, but you could choose a browser such as OmniWeb.
