How did EagleFiler get its name?

I am interested in how certain products get their names. For instance Pepsi has pepsin in it, and so that’s how it got its name. I wondered why EagleFiler. I think I understand the Filer part seeing that it works with files, but why Eagle. Favorite bird or that it keeps and “eagle” eye on our files? Just curious.

Yes, it’s a favorite bird that’s great at spotting what it’s looking for. I discussed this a bit in another thread.

thanks for the reply, Michael, and the link to that other post. Yeah, I would have thought twice about a product named digital packrat or something like that.
