How soon can I delete files marked as spam?

I guess this a process question. I have messages marked as spam in my junk folder. I add a few that may gave been found in my inbox using “train as spam”.

How long do I need to leave them marked as spam in my junk folder to be recorded? Can I delete them immediately?
