I have many files and folders inside of EagleFiler 1.9.16 and lots of duplicates. I need to extract ALL files and folders from within EagleFiler. How can I do that so I can begin again with a new library within EagleFiler and discard all of the duplicate files and folders?
There are different ways, but one way would be to close the source library and create your new library. Make sure that Allow duplicate files in library is unchecked in the settings. Then use the Finder to drag the Files folder from the old library into the To Import
folder for the new library.
When it’s done, delete the old library’s folder in Finder as well as the contents of the Unable to Import
folder for the new library (which will contain the duplicates).
Note that EagleFiler doesn’t really have the concept of a duplicate folder.
