I use EagleFiler mainly for archiving emails. I also have a library for other documents, like PDFs.
I copy the files from my PDF folder in iCloud into the library.
I also back everything up to Jottacloud: both the Eaglefiler libraries and the folder in Documents on my iCloud.
Which means I have four versions of the same.
Best thing I guess would be to NOT copy, but actually move everything from Documents and then delete them. So I have just backups of the EagleFiler library.
Now, then there arises a problem.I use Hazel to move all PDFs from wherever they are into the PDF folder in Documents. My questions:
- Is it advised to delete the original documents when I have them in a EagleFiler library? Or will I not be able to retrieve them if needed?
- can I make Hazel Move stuff directly in to the EagleFiler Library, or do I have to move them manually?
