I have two email addresses that keep being sent to Junk

I have used SpamSieve for years (over decade by now I believe). I am running SpamSieve on MacOS Sequoia using Apple Mail.

For the past year I have been receiving email from two GOOD sources that use the same email address in every mail (two sources, but they use the same email sent-from in every mail). But every morning I must go into my junk folder, highlight the two emails (they arrive early morning) and say “Train as Good”. This appears to do me no good, and so I must repeat the process the next morning.

Interesting thing I noted today, as I was logged into my iCloud account, looking at mail, on my Windows machine, is that I saw one of the emails come in and I read it before later looking ta my Mac and seeing that it had been moved to my junk folder. I assumed that Apple was the one who was filtering these emails to my junk folder, but if it was Apple, then would it have ever appeared in my Inbox at any time?

I just can’t understand why this is happening, and I feel that if I can figure this out then I might learn something useful, not only to resolve this issue, but other mail to which this might occur in the future.

One of the emails I receive is from a well-known source and comes from info@editorial.the guardian.com. The other is lesser known, but they do send from same address, which is admin@newsroompanama.com.

I would appreciate if anyone has any ideas I might explore, or if there is some other advice you may have. Would dearly love to solve this.

Thank you,

-Neil

That’s correct for Apple’s server filter. It’s also possible that it was Apple’s client-side filter (which should be turned off in Mail’s settings) or another rule in Mail. Please see the troubleshooting steps on this page.
