Importing from Apple Mail raises AppleScript Error

I am running macOS 12.3.1 and Eaglefiler 1.9.7.

When I select mails in Apple Mail and press F1 I am getting the following error message:

AppleScript Error

EagleFiler encountered an AppleScript error while trying to capture from Mail.

error -10875 (line )

The last time I backuped emails from Apple Mail it used to work. Does anyone have an idea what might cause the error and how to work around it?

As far as I can tell, no one has ever reported that error number before, and Apple doesn’t document what it means, unless it’s kAudioUnitErr_FailedInitialization, which seems unrelated to what the capture script does.

Does the error also occur when capturing from other locations in Apple Mail? Or from other apps like Finder or Safari?

Does it make a difference if you restart your Mac using safe mode?

Thanks for your quick reply. Yes the same error message appears when I try to import other emails (also single emails) or webpages from FF.

Mentioning safe mode, I rebooted macOS and it fixed the problem :man_shrugging: Now I know.

Thanks again for your support and the awesome app!
