For whatever reason I’m no longer able to import data into EF… No matter what method I use, the importing stalls – the down arrow in the dock stays down and the EF window shows the gear wheel moving “forever”. The title does get into the window, but no data. Only way to get out is to do a forced quit. I only have one EF file. I tried to import into a new blank EF file to no avail.

What does EagleFiler’s Activity window show? Have you tried restarting your Mac? Could you e-mail me your log file:
/Users/<username>/Library/Logs/EagleFiler/EagleFiler.log
?
The problem was solved by removing the CTLoader haxie:
/Library/InputManagers/CTLoader
