Is automatically tagging possible?

Hello!

Is it possible to automatically assign a certain tag depending on the name of the file?

Normally I do this with Hazel (renaming a file, moving the file in a certain folder in the EagleFiler-database and tagging) but newly Hazel failed at renaming and tagging, so I would like to have a similar rule in EagleFiler if it’s possible.

There’s currently no built-in feature, but you could do this by writing an AppleScript.

You could also set up a smart folder action that moves the file and assigns a tag, then invoke the action by dragging and dropping the file onto the smart folder.
