Jump to first occurrence of search term

By default EagleFiler highlights all occurrences of your search term in each record. You can use ⌘G to jump to the first one.

Please consider automatically jumping to the first hit when the record viewer changes.

Do you mean each time you select a different record while a search is active? Or just when you first enter the search query?

The former! The latter would only help with the first hit. Since EF doesn’t rank results that’s more likely a miss.

I just realised I used “first hit” for both the list of records and occurrences within a record. Talking about UI is hard.
