Hi all, from time to time, say once a day, the Spamsieve Log Window pops up to show one or more emails allegedly spammed.
When it happens I quickly review these emails and, if SpamSieve has marked them wrongly, say spam while they are good, I click on the button Train as Good but not much happens actually. I expect to see that email in my Inbox but it actually doesn’t. It just stays in the Deleted box, and I have to go and search for it. Is it a normal behaviour? don’t I risk to lose some actually good emails?
SpamSieve doesn’t bring up the Log window on its own. It sounds like maybe you have the Uncertain spam messages notification enabled and you are clicking on the notification.
If you train the message as good from the Log window, that doesn’t affect the copy of the message in Mail. It just updates SpamSieve’s training data, and the good message’s data is stored in SpamSieve’s corpus (and also kept in the log for 30 days).
If you want to move the message in Mail, you can instead find the message in the Junk mailbox and choose Train as Good from within Mail. That will train SpamSieve and also move the message back to the Inbox.
