Mac Mail junk setting

In mail >> preferences >> mailbox behaviours >> store junk messages on the server is checked. Should this be different?

And also should “Delete junk messages when” should that be after one day or something?

Just want to make sure that all the junk is properly gone.

It doesn’t really matter because the instructions have disable Mail’s own junk filter.
