macOS Screen Time and ToothFairy

Hi there,

I’m using Apple screen time to restrict access to several apps on my Mac. Unfortunately I can not find ToothFairy in the list of “always unrestricted” apps. Any hint how it is named or why it might not be in this list?

Kind regards,
Daniel

It just showed up for me automatically in the list, as ToothFairy and with the expected icon. I wonder if maybe Screen Time looks at which windows are open; maybe opening ToothFairy’s Preferences window would help.

Thanks for your fast answer. Unfortunately that didn’t work for me. Even when I switch on the Desktop Icon ToothFairy never shows up in the list. Haven’t found any other app that doesn’t show up. Any other idea?

How long did you leave the Preferences window open? It might take a while to be counted.

Or perhaps it needs to you manually launch the app once by double-clicking rather than auto-launching at login. You could also try deleting the app and re-downloading it from the Mac App Store.
