Mail isn’t quitting, only when I run SS. Means I have to force quit to restart or shutdown. It definitely does not happen when SS is switched off. Is there a fix?

I’ve not heard other reports of that happening, so I don’t know what’s causing it. Does Mail show the beachball or tell you that it can’t quit? If it gets stuck trying to quit, please record a sample of Mail during that time.
Do you mean turning off the SpamSieve rule in Mail or quitting the SpamSieve app before quitting Mail?
