mail rule dissapeared, won’t come back

SpamSieve stopped working after approx 2 weeks although I did not make any changes. I realized there is no SpamSieve rule present in my rules menu. I clicked on “install apple mail plugin” several times, but it does not work. can I enter the rule by hand? how should it look like?

The “Install Apple Mail Plug-In” command only installs the plug-in; it does not create the rule. To create the rule, please follow these instructions.
