I’m β-testing MailMaven and it has a setting for using SpamSieve and setting a threshhold. Choosing the SpamSieve option in settings provokes a popup to allow MailMaven to interact with SpamSieve via applescripts. I allow. But SpamSieve doesn’t “see” MailMaven. So when I want to train SpamSieve’s train options are dimmed.
MailMaven has built-in support for SpamSieve, so you can train it using the Message ‣ Mark as Junk and Message ‣ Mark as Not Junk commands in MailMaven itself.
Ahh, I was beginning to suspect such but (because Apple Mail) had forgotten that was a possibility. Thanks.
