Missed spam emails and how do I tweak my settings

I love SpamSieve on my Macbook Pro but although SS catches a lot, I still have many that get through into my inbox. Some of them seem to be repeats. I constantly flag them as spam but I feel that maybe there is a setting not right or something.

Any help and guidance is much appreciated.
My mac is running 15.16.1 and Spamsieve is 3.1.3
