Is there a more convenient way of navigating multi page PDFs apart from moving from page to page with the arrow keys or key commands? Wouldn’t a scroll bar make sense? And a Go To command in which you could input a page number?
Depending on your mouse/trackpad settings, you can use swipe gestures to navigate between PDF pages.
If you use View ‣ PDF ‣ Continuous Scroll you’ll get a scroll bar and can quickly scroll through all the pages.
There are also toolbar buttons that you can add to change pages.
I’ll look into adding a Go To Page command.
