This script makes a tag based on the current date (e.g. “2024-11-21”) and assigns it to the selected records. One potential use is if you want to mark records of importance. You could do this with the built-in “flagged” tag, but this script lets you see which records were marked during a particular session. The date format (%Y-%m-%d ) can be edited to add additional text or to format the date differently.
