I have apple mail on several devices. do I need to install and download Spam Sieve on each. if so how do I do this

You can run SpamSieve on one Mac (and have it filter mail for all the devices) or install it on multiple Macs (if there isn’t one Mac that’s running most of the time). The different options are described here.
