No SPAM messages in the Log

Running Spamsieve 3.1.3 on MAC OS 15.6. Yahoo is my mail server. Most Spam is getting filterred out. However, When I open the Log there are no log entries for Spam. Just good Mail (“Trained” and “Predicted”, “Pruned” and “Errors” like: Apple Mail took 11 seconds to get source of message in “Yahoo!”

My junk Mail folder contains Mail with color coding. Don’t see any settings that should control this?

No Predicted: Spam or Trained: Spam entries in the log?

Please see the Color the background according to how spammy it is setting:

Correct no predicted spam messages in the log. I mentioned the color coding because I believe that means Spamsieve is working, just not logging those actions.

Sorry my post was confusing about the color options. I

If there are no Trained: Spam log entries, either, then either you haven’t trained any (because SpamSieve didn’t miss any) or the logging or training is broken.

Could you send a screenshot of the color coding that you see?

Ok I’m good. Somehow Yahoo junk mail screening got activated, and it appears much better than in the past. It was capturing 99% of my spam. In checking the log I didn’t see the 1 or 2 “predicted spam”. For some reason I expected them to have a red dot.

I understand there is no longer a way to bypass Yahoo Junk Mail processing. I tried what was recommended.

Thanks for the excellent support.

The log shows red or orange when SpamSieve made a mistake. Green means it did the right thing.

Yes, many people are having trouble with the bypassing the Yahoo junk filter these days. However, there is still a way to make SpamSieve refilter the messages if you find that Yahoo is not doing a good job.
