Norton's Genie Scam Protection Pro

Will Norton’s Genie Scam Protection Pro work along with SpamSieve

I have not tried it or heard of anyone trying it. The main issue to be aware of is that if you have SpamSieve’s auto-training enabled you need to be able to correct all the mistakes. So if Norton gets rid of a spam message, you would want to be able to see it so that you can train it as spam if SpamSieve didn’t think it was spam. And if SpamSieve thought it was spam and Norton thought it was spam but it was actually good, you would want to be able to see it to train it as good. So either configure Norton such that the messages are separated but not deleted, or turn off auto-training in SpamSieve.

Thank you for such a prompt response.
I have been using Norton Antivirus for many years on my Mac. But they just added “Genie Scam Protection Pro” with Safe Email that Filters out emails with scams & malicious links. I don’t want to mess up my SpamSieve which I have used successfully for many years also. I don’t have to activate “Genie.” Will try to see if I can follow your suggestions. Thank you again, so much.
