Is there any chance of adding a feature that would allow EF to rescan files in its database to update their openmeta tags? I would really like to be able to tag files in the finder and have the changes show up in EF, without having to re-import the files.

Yes, that’s something I’m considering for a future version of EagleFiler. Meanwhile, it should be possible to write an AppleScript that reloads the OpenMeta tags for the selected files.

With EagleFiler 1.5 there is a new load OpenMeta tags AppleScript command to do this.
