To activate the latest upgrade of S.S. the app is asking for me to fill in my S.S. password.
The only password ever created was to to join this forum. Where do I get a password to complete the login box so my purchased version will function?

The username and password for the automatic Software Update are the ones for logging into your Mac. They’re not related to SpamSieve.
Please see this page for how you can reset your password or update SpamSieve without needing the password.
