Please stop SpamSieve crashing Mail on OSX ... it has been doing this repeatedly for the last 6+ months

i am totally fed up with SpamSieve crashing my Mail app
i use a 2010 Mac Pro running OSX 10.13.6, with the latest versions of both Mail (Version 11.5 (3445.9.5)) and SpamSieve

this has been going on for AGES! and i have been getting more angry about it because it would appear that SS is not doing anything about it whatsoever

time for me to either chuck the almost pointless app, or for you guys (at SS) to get it working properly

There are no known cases where SpamSieve causes Mail to crash, and we have not received any recent reports of Mail crashing. Please follow the instructions on the What can I do if Apple Mail is crashing? page so that we can look into what’s causing the crash.
