Problem Importing more than one email?

I am evaluating Eaglefiler, and I don’t seem to be able to drag multiple emails from Apple Mail over to a folder. I can do one at a time, but if I do multiples, it only does one. These are local folders. Is this expected behavior?

Yes, there’s a known issue where recent versions of Mail broke the multi-item drag API that EagleFiler is using. I’m hoping to resolve that by updating to a newer API in a future version. For now, you could either:

  • Select multiple messages and press the capture key to import them into EagleFiler.

  • Drag the e-mails to Finder instead. You could:

    • Reveal the EagleFiler folder in Finder and drag into that folder, then scan for new files; or
    • Drag to a temporary folder and then drag from there into EagleFiler.
