Hi, is there any amount or math capabilities? I didn’t see anything when I right clicked on the header bar for amounts, and there doesn’t appear to be anything related to math and summing for receipts collection and stuff like that. Am I missing something? This came up as an alternative for Mariner Paperless and I’m just trying to see if fI can use it to total and tally imported receipts. Thanks!
There’s no built-in math capability. I know some people like to put receipt amounts in the From field, and if you want to do that I could write you a script that sums the amounts for the selected files.
In case you’re noodling a feature, the fields that I use in paperless right now are
Date (of purchase)
Vendor
Category
Amount
Notes/Description
From there I can make smart collections based on categories , and it will auto tally. Could be helpful if you have lot of customers doing receipt tracking.
