I am running SpamSieve 3.1.2 on Sequoia 15.5. Despite having “Show Dock Icon” unchecked, the dock icon will automatically reappear and the SpamSieve setting window opened from time to time usually after the computer is awakened from sleep. Is there additional steps I need to do to prevent the dock icon from appearing ?
Maybe you need to remove it from the recents section. Please see this page.
Are you using the QuitMailWhenMacSleeps esoteric preference? I think that’s the only time SpamSieve does anything in response to the Mac waking (though it shouldn’t cause the Settings window to open).
Or do you perhaps have some other automation set up that’s triggered by sleep/wake? If you try to launch SpamSieve when it’s already open it will open the Settings window.
